A short drive from Parris Island, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort is the home of the Marine Corps’ fixed-wing fighter attack aircraft on the East Coast.  
The air station maintains multiple squadrons of Marine F/A-18 Hornets, plus Navy F/A-18 squadrons.
